Cars that have giant loudspeakers on top. I think they're advertising something, but it's hard to tell what because the talking is just so loud.
Chick music that is always being played at the internet cafe. Right now: The Cranberries. I'm not kidding.
Home-grown peaches, and the best hand cream I've ever used. Also, aloe vera gel with cane sugar and honey. It's bitter, but kind of yummy.
Dogs, dogs and more dogs. They're freakin everywhere. And they have random pet stores with puppies in tiny little cages. It makes me so sad.
Toast. And margarine with garlic. It was a mistake, but such a good one. And pineapple jelly.
I love the mountains here. It reminds me of a Miyazaki film, because the clouds are always so close, and they move through so quickly. And they're all so green! Except the ones that have been stripped of all their trees... Those ones always make me feel so sad.

I know what you mean about the mountains. My friend wrote a kid's book about a Chaski (Incan messenger) that takes place in Puru and I'm illustrating it. I got a lot of inspiration from Howl's Moving Castle. I hope you have a lot of pics of the mountains.
